Why am I receiving this course?
The Florida Nursing Board records indicate that your license will need to be renewed by April 30 or July 31. Therefore, you are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education prior to renewal. Our courses are approved by the Florida Nursing Board, and our provider number is 50-4007.

How do I complete this course?
This course contains all 24 hours required by Florida law, including the 2 hours on prevention of medical errors. After reviewing the material and completing the final exam questions located at the end of each chapter, you can complete your final exam one of the following ways:

MAIL
Fill out all the requested information (be sure to fill in your license number) on the final exam sheet found on page 70 in course book, include payment of $21.95 made payable to Elite CME and mail it to us in the envelope provided in your book. If you have misplaced your envelope, you can mail it to us at:

We will process your final examination. As long as you receive 75 percent or better on your exam, you will be issued a certificate of completion.

FAX
For faster service, you can fill in your credit card number and expiration date and fax your final examination to 1-386-673-3563. We will mail you your certificate of completion.

ONLINE
For an even more convenient way of completing your continuing education hours, you can go to the Take Online Test page and complete your test. You will be requested to fill in your information and can print a certificate of completion for your records.

Note: If you want to complete less than 24 hours, you must take your exam online.

I have an ARNP license; can I take this course?
Yes, you can complete all of your continuing education hours with this 24-hour course.

Will you report my hours to the state?
Yes, we report your hours electronically to the board through CE Broker within one business day. You keep your certificate of completion for your records.

How is your company different from other providers?
We never ask you to pay upfront or ask you to complete more CE hours than what is required. If you are not satisfied after reviewing the material, simply do not complete the exam.

Are domestic violence and HIV/AIDS required courses?
HIV/AIDS is now a one-time requirement to be completed only by licensees who are renewing for the first time. Domestic violence is a 2-hour requirement due every third renewal. Domestic violence is only required every 6 years, so the earliest any nurse will need to complete the domestic violence requirement is for the period ending 2013.
