About the Course

Falls are a major concern for all healthcare facilities. Falls have patient safety, financial, and psychosocial consequences.  This course provides information that facilitates the development and initiation of a fall assessment program that includes preventive strategies to safeguard patients and others from the danger of falling.

About the Author:
Adrianne E. Avillion, D.Ed., RN

Adrianne E. Avillion, D.Ed., RN, is an accomplished nursing professional development specialist and healthcare author. She earned her doctoral degree in adult education and her MSN from Penn State University and a BSN from Bloomsburg University.
