The new CMS approved alternative QC option, which goes into effect on January 1, 2016, is known as an Individualized Quality Control Plan (IQCP).  IQCP is a process of developing QC protocols unique to your laboratory by assessing risk and evaluating all aspects of your specific testing laboratory environment.  IQCP is an improvement over traditional QC by allowing the laboratory to develop a QC plan that is customized for how the test is performed on site while maintaining compliance with the applicable regulations.

This webinar introduces participants to the principles of IQCP, the steps involved in creating an individualized quality control plan and the requirements for monitoring its effectiveness through the quality assessment process.  These processes require participation of all your staff, raising your laboratory’s culture of quality to a higher level.
