Sports massage is a rapidly growing field as more and more athletes and trainers are discovering the benefits it provides to their bodies’ maintenance, performance and recovery. Jim began his career in health and wellness in 1992 and has worked with a spectrum of clients in the community, athletic and rehabilitative settings. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Corrective Exercise Specialist, holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation Science. An engaging and energetic instructor, Jim has presented at numerous continuing education events for trainers, therapists and nurses since 2004.
Materials: Students should bring a massage table, notebook and pen, floor mat or towel, coffee or water if desired, and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes.
