Workshop: Movement System Impairment Syndromes: Basic Application

April 28 & 29, 2018 – Edison, NJ

Through this introductory course, Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD, FAPTA will present the concepts and principles associated with movement system impairments (MSI) and their role in mechanical musculoskeletal pain syndromes. The program will include demonstrations of examinations, selection of corrective exercises, and performance of therapeutic exercises. This course uses a lecture and demonstration format and does not include laboratory practice. This course is a pre-requisite for MSIS of the Lower Quarter: Advanced Application lab practicum course to be offered in the Fall of 2018, included in the same brochure.
